From customized catering to our cozy Windsor kitchen, Chefs Scott Geddes and Kelly Taylor keep doing what they love: feeding people, sharing laughs, and creating food worth talking about.

Cocoa Pesto Food Shoppe opened in spring 2022 in Windsor, Nova Scotia. We make everyday food with care—fresh, seasonal, and ready when you are.

Owner-chef Scott Geddes sets the vision. Chef Kelly Taylor keeps the line calm and the flavours honest. It’s a simple approach that works: cook in small batches, use regional ingredients, and let the food speak for itself.

Dine in our cozy space, call ahead for pickup, or grab something from the case—ready-made dinners, soups, salads, dressings, and fresh baking. The menu changes with what looks best today, so there’s usually something new to try (and the favourites don’t stay on the shelf for long).

Culinary Visionary & Founder

With more than two decades of experience and a knack for turning comfort food into memorable dishes, Scott is the creative force behind Cocoa Pesto Catering and Cocoa Pesto Food Shoppe.

He launched Cocoa Pesto Catering in 2003 on a simple belief—great food brings people together. Today in Windsor, he leads with energy, humour, and local flavour, crafting meals that make people smile before the first bite.

Culinary Expert & Behind-the-Scenes Creator

A graduate of the Culinary Institute of Canada (2000), Kelly brings refined technique and steady leadership to both the Food Shoppe and Catering teams.

From fine-dining kitchens to university operations, she blends creativity with precision—keeping service smooth, flavours balanced, and every plate thoughtfully prepared.
